Flora Rooker

• Brown Belt started her jiu jitsu journey as a white belt under Coach Yukito.

• Changed her lifestyle a full 360 dedicating herself to jiu jitsu, losing 30lbs.

• She is the smallest and wisest, yet in the last couple of years is able to now dominate larger stronger and younger men in sparring.

• She enjoys spending time on the mats helping to empower kids and women in jiu jitsu as well as an acting caregiver for our pet mascot Mako.

• Flora balances work-life as part of supply chain for servers under the Google Cloud Division.

Hamza Louzan

• Brown Belt under coach Yukito.

• Smash passer and leg lock submission hunter.

• Extremely skilled and respectful, quickly evolving into a leader who carries a very traditional Japanese style Bushido code that reflects who he is on and off the mats.

• From Morracco, and moved to San Francisco to complete his studies and begin his career in technology as a data analyst.

• Teaching Tuesday Gi Fundamentals and Wednesday night no gi fundamentals.

Darren Chien

• Purple belt under coach Yukito.

• Loves passing flexible guard players, his famous Taiwanese teabag pass, and very heavy hips.

• Passionate about helping others on and off the mats except.

• Excellent leader and passion for teaching the future generation in the kids class.

• Great communicator, follows through with his words, and overall a great and respectful human being.

Master Mako

• Red Belt in jiu jitsu.

• Grew up in the studio, well trained, and has the strongest attendance.

• Great with kids and smaller dogs, but not so great with dogs his size lol.

• Intelligent, curious, nosey, and needy.

• High energy but can sleep alot.

• Gentle, understanding, knows his boundaries, and extremely loving.

• Very fluffy and loves cashews.
